Joe Clark is counsel to the firm and practices in the Commercial Litigation department. Joe represents corporations, financial institutions, and individuals in all facets of complex civil and white collar criminal litigation. His work includes litigation of contracts, insurance policies, claims under the Lanham Act, franchise termination, deficient construction and architectural malpractice, estate disputes, constitutional rights, seizure of counterfeit goods, class actions, bank fraud, and claims under state and federal securities laws. He has successfully argued summary judgment motions in state and federal courts, and has tried, managed, and executed case litigation plans involving all aspects of pre-trial preparation, discovery and strategy in complex commercial and shareholder litigations, and has also represented companies in various white collar criminal matters, including assisting an independent monitor appointed pursuant to a deferred prosecution agreement with the United States Department of Justice. ...read more
